After being obsessed with filmmaking and business since I was a young teen, I took the biggest leap of faith of my life and founded Motion State Media in 2015. At the time, I was recovering from a back injury, had decided not to attend film school, and had no clients or money left for fancy camera gear after spending it all to build our studio. But one thing was clear: this was my life’s passion, and I knew we’d succeed if we stayed true to our integrity.
I grew frustrated with the many production companies and agencies that focused more on creating “highlight reel-worthy videos” to win awards or gain recognition, rather than truly having the project and client’s best interest at heart. That’s what inspired me to make “redefining the standards” my mission. To truly understand a brand and deliver results and experiences that no one else could.
