After being obsessed with filmmaking and business since I was a young teen, I took the biggest leap of faith of my life and founded Motion State Media in 2015. Fresh off a back injury that stopped me from going to film school. I had a handful of clients and no money left for fancy camera gear. All I had was an ability to understand my clients and connect with audiences.

I grew frustrated with the many production companies and agencies that focused more on creating “highlight reel-worthy videos” to win awards or gain recognition. And those over charging anyone they can, just because they can. I was sick of companies not truly having their client’s best interest at heart. That’s what inspired me to make redefining the standards my mission. By truly understanding a brand’s needs, then delivering results and experiences that no one else can.

Seeing an ad we created generate millions in sales, helping a business achieve their goals, giving our clients the best experience they’ve ever had and seeing the emotions of viewers after watching our videos…means worlds more to me than any award or highlight reel could.
